Suzan Thompson, Consulting Partner

Suzan Thompson, Ph.D., President of Integrative Counseling Wellness,  is a licensed Professional Counselor and former University Professor skilled in the practice of Person-Centered Care within therapeutic and trauma-informed milieus. Suzan brings the richness of her clinical background into our training sessions, by helping therapists and service providers to hone these three principles in their work with clients with challenging issues toward resilience and success.
Dr. Suzan Thompson is known for her creativity in helping people discover their path to healing and for her integration of wholistic  approaches to therapy and wellness. Her certifications include EFT, sound frequency therapy, Soul Collage.

Paula Traverse-Charlton, 
Consulting Partner

Paula Traverse-Charlton possesses deep experience in the field of intellectual disabilities and is Certified in Positive Behavior Supports and Trauma-Informed Care.
Paula Traverse-Charlton, President of Positive Behavioral Supports, begain her career in Boston, Mass. in a direct service role and has remained true to person-centered excellence throughout her tenure and experience as a director for Hope House Foundation, based in Norfolk, VA. Paula presently consults across Virginia in providing embedded coaching for people with challenges to successful integration into community life. She shares her insights, tools, wisdom and caring with our participants in Person-Centered Excellence through the power of story; by sharing the many insights that inform her work from her career beginnings to her present day consulting.
